About Us

Many of the Mountaineer's began playing golf together at East Mountain Country Club some 20 years ago. The group is basically an informal league where everyone is welcomed to play regardless of their skill level. We play every Wednesday and Friday at noontime during the golfing season, which generally runs from when the frost first comes out of the ground to well into December or when the first snow covers the golf course. Yes, indeed, this is a very hearty group of characters. A few of the guys also play every Sunday morning at 8:30 during the season.

There are no dues and no requirements to show up every week. All we ask is that you enjoy the game of golf and enjoy good people. Because you'll quickly discover this group of guys are very easy to get along with and really enjoy a good competitive game of golf.

The simple fact is that the East Mountain Noontime Mountaineers may be about the easiest and most enjoyable golf league you ever participated in.
